Game Directions:
1. After reading the book, have student go back through the book and find the words that are listed on the vocabulary cards. Have her draw a quick sketch on the vocabulary and definition card. If there is a small group, they can share the drawing.
2. Cut out the word cards and match them to their definition.
3. Shuffle the cards and lay them out face down in a rectangular shape. Turn over the four corners so they are face up.
4. Students take turns turning two cards over to see if they can find matches. They can use the four upturned cards as well in trying to make a match. If the two cards they turn over do not match, they should be turned back over and the next student takes a turn. If a match is made, the student can have another turn.
5. The game is over when all of the cards have been matched. The winner is the person with the highest number of cards.
